REMEMBERING
There are always people who come into our lives and change them forever.  When those who we love pass on, our memories keep them with us always.  This page is dedicated to those who live on forever in our hearts.

Ella Elizabeth (Libby) Kuhn
My Grandmother was one of those rare people who had no concept of the word stranger.  She was always ready to feed anyone who came by and always had a big smile waiting as well.  She was a terrific artist and the amazing mother of five children.  I was deeply blessed to have grown up with my grandmother close by and very involved in my life.  I learned from her how to embrace my dreams and make them a reality as well as how to see the world through the eyes of an artist.  Her passion for life and family is carried on in all of her children and grandchildren.

Douglas E. Watson
I was blessed to know this wonderful man for over 9 years.  We shared many thoughts and dreams and he was always there to support any dream anyone had.  I believe if you told him your greatest passion was to paint the moon purple, his response would be, "Cool!  Send me pictures."  And then he would start asking questions about what shade of purple you would use and what kind of paint.  Doug passed after many years of battling brain tumors.  When he found out that the tumor were back, this is what he wrote and posted to his website:

"To those who love me"

When I am gone, release me, let me go, I have so many things to see and do. You must not tie yourself to me with tears, be happy we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have shown, but now it is time I travel alone. So grieve for a while if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It is only for a while we must part, so bless the memories in your heart. I won't be far away, For life does go on, so if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near. If you listen with your heart, you'll hear all my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone I'll greet you with a smile and say....

"WELCOME HOME"

It is my sincere hope that everyone has someone like Doug in their lives to help nurture their dreams.  He will be missed and loved always!

Until we meet again....
Debbie
